Rules & Regulations<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

  1. As per BSAEU regulations, every student must attend classes regularly and punctually. Students attending at least 80% of classes<\/strong>\u00a0will be considered\u00a0\u2018Collegiate\u2019<\/strong>, while those below this threshold will be deemed\u00a0\u2018Non-Collegiate\u2019<\/strong>. Non-Collegiate students will face fines and may be barred from appearing in examinations.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Attendance in all college examinations is compulsory. Absence without valid reason will incur penalties. A medical certificate must be submitted for\u00a0three or more consecutive days of absence due to illness<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Internal assessment marks, as per BSAEU and ASP College of Education regulations, will be awarded based on the following criteria:<\/p>

    • Marks in house tests;<\/p><\/li>

    • Attendance;<\/p><\/li>

    • Performance in teaching practice;<\/p><\/li>

    • Discipline, manners, etiquette, politeness, obedience, and sincerity;<\/p><\/li>

    • Participation in co-curricular activities, organizational skills, performance in college functions, sports meets,\u00a0ASP Cultural Festival<\/strong>, etc.;<\/p><\/li>

    • Punctuality and proper dress code adherence;<\/p><\/li>

    • An additional 5% marks<\/strong>\u00a0will be awarded to the top three students based on extraordinary performance, as determined by an expert committee.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li>

    • Any form of malpractice<\/strong>\u00a0in college or university examinations will be dealt with severely, including expulsion from the examination hall and further disciplinary action.<\/p><\/li>

    • The college management reserves the right to\u00a0rusticate\/suspend<\/strong>\u00a0any student for\u00a0indisciplinary actions<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li>

    • Shouting or unnecessary loitering<\/strong>\u00a0within the college campus is strictly prohibited.<\/p><\/li>

    • Smoking, chewing tobacco, consuming intoxicating substances (including chewing gum), spitting on walls, or causing any nuisance<\/strong>\u00a0is punishable and may lead to expulsion.<\/p><\/li>

    • Students\u00a0misbehaving with peers (especially female students), disobeying, or disrespecting any teaching\/non-teaching staff<\/strong>\u00a0will face disciplinary action.<\/p><\/li>

    • Ragging and sexual harassment in any form are strictly prohibited.<\/strong>\u00a0Severe measures will be taken against offenders.<\/p><\/li>

    • The use of excessive cosmetics (lipstick, perfumes, nail polish, etc.) is prohibited.<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • A prescribed dress code is mandatory for all students.<\/strong>\u00a0Those without proper attire, well-groomed hair, clean and trimmed nails, and polished shoes\u00a0will not be permitted to attend classes.<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • No student will be allowed to enter a class 15 minutes after it has commenced.<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • Carrying and displaying the college identity card is compulsory during college hours.<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • Students are subject to security checks upon entry and exit from the campus.<\/strong>\u00a0No one may leave early without written permission from the management.<\/p><\/li>

    • No friends, visitors, relatives, or outsiders are allowed inside classrooms or laboratories.<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • Cars must be parked only in designated areas.<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • The college is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings on campus.<\/strong>\u00a0Students must keep their valuables secure.<\/p><\/li>

    • College property must be handled with care.<\/strong>\u00a0Any damage caused by a student will be compensated from their caution deposit.<\/p><\/li>

    • Meeting the Principal requires prior permission.<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • Attendance is mandatory<\/strong>\u00a0in seminars, tutorial classes, educational excursions, community outreach programs, exhibitions, and college celebrations.<\/p><\/li>

    • These rules apply equally to all trainees<\/strong>\u00a0and come into effect at the start of the academic calendar.<\/p><\/li>

    • All decisions by the college authority are final.<\/strong>\u00a0Legal disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the\u00a0Kolkata High Court.<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

    • The college reserves the right to expel any student<\/strong>\u00a0for violating norms without providing a reason.<\/p><\/li>

    • Studentship may be terminated<\/strong>\u00a0on serious disciplinary grounds.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
